>>52190481I really want to get into Erina but it's as you said, her hours are SEA oriented and they make viewing her an issue if you're not filipino. It's Jelly's biggest debuff too for that matter but I imagine that some EU friends should be able to watch Jelly easier than Erina.
I have watched some vods and I'm not sure about her prior vtubing experience but she doesn't really have the puppeteering down yet for her model. Her genmates, Shiina and Airi have improved in this area by leaps and bounds while Rie and Panko only recently have been experimenting with movement but (in my opinion) haven't done as good as Airi and Shiina with regards to exaggerated facial model expressions. Erina, however, doesn't really seem to try and she remains very static throughout her streams except for when she's laughing and even then it feels very wooden.
It's a real shame because she absolutely mogs all of Phase Connect and most western vtubers with her vocal range which makes me yearn for content where she can flex the number of voices she can pull off. I have my biases and I'm a big fan of
Grimmi so I selfishly would love to see Erina do more story-oriented content with numerous characters so that she could assign each of them a unique voice for her to show off how genuinely talented she is.
