note: you dont get crucified in a T pose like shown in images and movies sometimes. you get crucified with bent knees and hang from your wrists since the spikes go in the wrists and not the hands because then your body weight would just rip through the hands
Additional fun fact the cross that Jesus and most people would be crucified on would not have a cross shape but a T shape. The "pole" would be in the ground already and you would have to bear the beam that your wrists would be attached to to the pole, not the entire cross. It would be a real fucking pain in the ass to secure and entire cross in the ground that would not fall over when you have a human male hanging from it
