Recently I purchased two mic/camera arms in order to hold my mic and camera.
RODE PSA1
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001D7UYBOand the
M05 Boom Arm
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CX8PWYD8Both are great.
The RODE PSA1 is very strong and meant to hang down, which doesn't work for me because it gets in the way of vision, but I was able to make it inverted so that the position is chest level. It doesn't get in the way of my arms to control the mouse/keyboard and doesn't block vision.
The M05 Boom Arm is way better. It's a bit weaker, but because of it's adjustability and low profile I found it easier to use. You can also use something to support the weaker arm beams if your camera/mic is heavy. I use a candle jar as a support and it works fine.
The M05 Boom Arm is way cheaper too. I wish I would have just bought two of them.
