Maybe I'm just naive, but I don't think "leeching" is a big of a deal as people make it seem and I don't like to think people get so bent up over it. Sometimes you just talk to someone new, right? And that's life? You don't have to make friends everywhere as long as you're nice to each other. A good experience with someone you don't consider yourself to be close to is a good experience all the same I think. I don't really get fighting amongst people who have the same goals as you. I guess in a way it's a competitive field, but that doesn't mean you have to be spiteful.
Sorry for mucho texto feefees woman moment rambling. I just really think some things can be misunderstandings and assumptions. I don't think any of the chuubas here mean any harm and if they react negatively, they've probably just been burned by someone before. It's okay to not mesh together and not talk to someone if you get a bad feeling from them, but I think most people here can be civil about it.
