These ladies may not in fact be very competent businessmen. They may not put due care into making decisions with lasting complications, they may not have paid close attention to contracts they signed. They may have even made some choices driven by emotions at a time of weakness, like women. And it's honestly better that way, "shrewd businesswoman idol" would be a hell of a niche. That's why they need a good and supportive staff to guide them. With Mikeneko in particular, I really feel she just wanted a place to belong, the thing that probably drove her to Hololive in the first place.
