>>79247885>casualized What does that even mean anymore? Because from where I'm standing most Vtuber fans are people that used to watch anime 10 years ago and used to regularly play video games 10 years ago (they might play something 1-2 a week these day, might!). Where's the non-casual part of this hobby? Where's the audience for that?
If you want to have a chuuba that talks about some obscure 80s anime and two of the latest anime series this season has produce, you need an audience for that.
There isn't one.
If you want a chuuba that plays Delta Force 2 and Gary Grigsby's War in the East 2, you need an audience for that.
There isn't one.
There isn't even a chuuba that can talk about classical Japanese cinema.
In 2020 you couldn't even have a proper chuuba talking about the Japanese idol scene, because the average viewer had almost zero interest in it and these days you'll get people like Kiara and Mint making offhand comments about it, at most.
So I ask again, who is this "non-casual" audience and what even does is it want?
