An interesting thing to think about without abolishing the dividend pools (which I think they should) is for that consecutive stream streak/number of streams to apply outside of the dividend pools, basically slapped on top as a bonus (or a "baseline"). Combined with relatively low prices this would make a lot of steady-but-low-view coins much more viable.
Either way, I think it's nice as a metric, but it comes with some caveats and I doubt it does enough on its own, it would be much more effective if it was paired with a major overhaul of dividends in general.
