She had an audience but she was one of the lesser popular Barbies. So I feel like she wanted to go all in and embrace big corpo as a last ditch effort to try and make something of herself. I don't really agree with the decision but it was her decision to take to expand her audience.
What I really didn't like was the fact that she kept everyone in the dark about it. I don't think she realized just how much it hurt them thinking she was stepping away forever. Shondo, Nina, and Oli all cried at the announcement and it was obvious that they learned it as everyone else did. If Shondo is willing to forgive her for it and continue to support her as Cecelia then I guess I can forgive her as well but I still think she did a really bad job with the whole situation and it didn't help Shondo's already declining mental health at that point.
