Don't let people get on your case about being single. These people likely pushed themselves into a relationship themselves and settled because of societal pressure.
Just take your time, make sure you have or get an okay/decent job, look after yourself hygiene wise and most importantly be happy with yourself.
The rest will come eventually. But for now, only care about you and your own happiness.
