EN really was a revelation and its kind of amazing theyve been this successful with it, they managed to hire a wide enough range of talent that it isnt all copy pasted samey where theyre eating each others' fanbase but they have enough in common that the collabs are wholesome. Yuko's my oshi but I like her interactions with all the other girls and I cant really compare the way it makes me feel to anything but HololiveJP back in 2019 and 2020 when they were still growing and it wasnt guaranteed success for anyone who joined. I did like the EN girls' debuts but couldnt stick with them much probably for that reason and when you look at most of the market nowadays, even JP debuts, there isnt that same "new" feel - most of it just seems like a cash in before the fad dies - but Idol has somehow captured it, even their obvious moneygrabs like the Donothons were amazing
