>>85177184This one comes from several years ago. I think I was in my last year of high school.
The dream spans several "days" where I was watching a magical girl anime. The plot of this cartoon, went something like this:
In the first episode, a portal suddenly opens in a deserted part of a town and some kind of fantasy animal comes out of it in a rush, saying he must hurry.
In the next scene, another portal opens but this time it's gigantic and in a place with many people; a monster comes out of it and starts causing chaos. Eventually it is defeated, but with great losses.
The animal-like creature then somehow gathers three middle school girls and explains them what's happening: he comes from a different dimension and some evil guy is trying to cross borders with a giant army of monsters to conquer the girls' world. He can't do that because the border does not allow so many creatures to pass, so he planned to weaken it by continuously sending the largest creature he can as often as he can. The only way to defeat the people from the parallel world without as many losses is by using a special energy that is abundant there, but rare in the girls' dimension. Only some people have enough to make use of it and the girls are among them.
He teaches the three how to awaken their powers and basically it's the standard magical girls transformation: the "leader" is red and has the power to fly using some jet engine-like machines on her waist and can shoot energy from a distance; another girl is blue and has "body strength" or something, basically she becomes stronger, faster and more resilient; the last girl is yellow-orange but I don't remember her power because I didn't like her, I think it was something about making weapons on the go.
The rest of the dream is a bit confused because it was the usual monster-of-the-week episodes where some bad guy appears, they fight with the power of friendship and good feelings, then win until next time.
During the last episode the evil final boss guy actually manages to shatter the border between dimensions and is able to enter the girls' world. I don't remember why the army couldn't pass, but the final fight was a 1-vs-3 as is standard for the genre.
After they win, the very last scene is the "red" girl saying she has to transfer to another town and it ends with the trio disbanding.
It was so detailed the day after I drew the "red" girl's design and appearance and I should still have that piece of paper somewhere.
