Sayu herself is confrontational. If she has a problem with somebody, she will first attempt to confront them in private, and if that fails, then contact them in public to force them private, like what happened with Kenji, as well as Finana and Matara, though obviously the former succeeded while the latter two clearly fell through.
She absolutely attempted to contact Quinn, and either whatever they talked about failed, or Quinn ghosted her despite fucking her over behind the scenes.
