Fluff for those that need it in this trying time
>You’re awoken by the bright sunlight streaming in from the window
>You sit up in bed with a yawn, turning over to check the time on the tacky digital alarm clock
>The red lights spell out that its 10:07 am
>Time to get up
>Time waits for no one, well, it did for Kronii, but she was an exception
>You try to quietly get out of bed, making sure not to disturb your sleeping partner
>Kronii had promised to work on her sleep schedule but you didn’t want to wake her now, especially with how cute she looked all huddled under the covers, her arms seeking your absent frame
>You tiptoe to close the curtains for her when she tosses over and then groggily sits up
>Her hair is a mess, some of it is in matted patches while a couple wily hairs stick out from random places
>The sheets are drooping off of one shoulder, revealing some of her pearly skin
>She looks at you with her tired face, with just a slight hint of bags under her eyes before she gives you a soft smile, “Last night was crazy, huh Anon?”
>You loved her morning voice
>“Didn’t expect you to be up this early.” You chuckle
>She rubs at her eyes, “Neither did I”
>She lets out a groan, stretching her arms above her head as you leave the room
>You walk down the hallway of the cabin
>It’s pretty cozy, all the comforts of home but with the added bonus of only being short walk away from the beach
>You reach the kitchen and begin the process of making coffee
>You searched around the myriad cabinets before finding a small bag and a coffee bean grinder
>You hated the high pitched whirring it made that echoed off the walls but the end result was worth it
>You poured the freshly ground coffee beans into the old fashioned coffee pot
>That damned coffee pot
>Kronii lived off of coffee in the morning thanks to her less than ideal sleep schedule
>The first morning you’d searched almost every cabinet in the entire kitchen just to find that coffee pot
>Of course, it was in the last cabinet you looked through
>But the look of joy on her exhausted face almost made it worth it
>Almost
>You poured some boiling water in and then pushed the press down
>It would take a couple of minutes for it to be ready so you slipped on some flip flops and opening the doors to the cabin’s patio
>You took a minute to admire the land around you before taking a deep breath of the air
>It smelled like the sea. Some people hated it, but you couldn't understand why. That smell meant adventure, seeing new things, and enjoying the simple pleasures of life
>You sat there for a good while, content in the moment as you listened to the birds sing before you walked back inside to check on the coffee
>It was done and just in time
>Kronii had come walking out from the bedroom in a fluffy robe, coaxed by the scent of fresh coffee
>You grabbed two mugs from a cabinet before rummaging through the small fridge for some creamer
>You poured the steaming liquid into the mugs, adding a little creamer for you and keeping it black for her
>You hand the mug over to the sleepy time warden who graciously accepts, warming her cold hands with the mug
>She brings it to her face and closes her eyes, simply enjoying the smell before taking a sip of the warm, bitter liquid
>Just how she liked it
>She swallows before giving a satisfied “Aaahhhh”
>You also take a sip before putting your arm around her waist and giving her a kiss on the forehead
>”Good morning”
