>>57173373Finally read through this, here's my loose thoughts that I had while doing so in no particular order:
Pick a more readable font anon, or at least settle on a normal speech font. I know this has been pointed out but you really should just have a normal workhorse font that does 95% of the work and reserve special fonts and use of stuff like color in text for special stuff. Specifically that fucking Constellation font seems fucking perfect if you're going to stick with the magical girl theme.
Good music choices, really makes the text pop out and have more effect.
Personally I'm not so set on alt!sui's name, kind of feels like she should have the same last name but that's just gut instinct. I feel like it should be, for lack of better words, more vtuber-ish even if she's kind of implied to have a wreck of a channel.
The blank square for default no one talking should probably be fixed, but that's clearly just from this being proof of concept.
>>57187136I think having this just be a kinetic novel with no choices would be fine... though I'm not gonna lie. A hidden variable tracking Kana's dialogue choices in key events determining if she gets a good or bad ending sounds like it would be a fun way to incorporate player choice even if it's just a binary good or bad ending.
As for the questions, in order:
1/2: Honestly you don't need an anon insert here, I think just having it be Kana (with occasional peeks at what Suisei is doing) would be enough unless you want to actually write anon insert + romance since...
3: If you're doing magical girl stuff it would be kind of weird to have a male reader insert here anyway. I know it was literally thrown in last thread because of ideas getting thrown about but if you really want to write a magical girl story then having it be a personal narrative with Kana (and Suisei) would be for the better. Otherwise I think going the more "conventional" route thrown in the greentexts would be better.
4: Only do stuff like that if you want to commit to the idea. I don't think this would benefit from the additional routes unless you can outline a good reason for a route split. Maybe alternate scenes would be enough if you want to encourage rereading but other than that I can't really see it being worth it.
