You can say and have said things like "I should" followed by a broad stroke statement, that's not the point of the exercise. Get into specifics, say what scenes and interactions you need to help you address the critiques you were given.
If your past works were well received for their prose, I would look back on your process and try to take things you did from there that you somehow forgot.
