You know like it's somehow wrong to change a vtuber VA? It's not practical but it's cultural so it's there. This practice mtigated the situation of a company owning the vtuber IP but this new open ended ''closure'' sets a new meta for Vtubers. It will still be a source of income sure but it's more profitable for the company and a massive hit for the vt culture and tradition.
