Kanata seems accurate but she doesn't have a ton of stuff for me to comment on definitively but she acts just right. Maybe she could be a bit of a straight man more.
I like your prose, it's very descriptive and you have some great lines, (I particularly like the line about the giggle retrained around her eyes) but I think you overdo the similies just a tad. Overall, I hope you do a follow-up because Kanata needs to get pounded roughly.
