If you want to see someone who focuses on music, look at Suisei, Watame, or Mori. Suisei is the best example because she doesn't even do SC reading. Nene isn't trying to be popular with just her music. Not to mention her big focus on dancing, which is why she was so devastated when her 3D got delayed.

Nene wants to be an IDOL, with all the implications. Singing, dancing, and intimate fan interaction. That's why the latest big thing Nene did was not new music, but a concert with full formation dancing. Which was absolutely amazing, by the way.
