basically going all-out on presentation and not doing your personality/comedy reps will get you nowhere past twitter followers and debut viewers; making good content but being barebones in presentation will make it hard to gain initial hype, but you will gradually gain viewers that stick around for you. doing both will help give you an initial boost and give you the ability to follow up on that and retain more debut viewers. that, or its up to you if you just want to put together a visual style you are proud of for your own sake.
