To that same extent I kind of feel like Vshojo is passed over in a similar way despite their massive success. I see them less drawn by artists, less pushed by advertisers, zero collabs in any video games like hololive gets, so on and so forth. I think it has more to do with a perception of western vtubers than anything. A bias maybe. The only way you can become visible to the public is to the point that they absolutely have to acknowledge you is like with Mouse's subathon because she broke like 3 world records. And even then she still lost to Code Miko at the twitch awards.
