>>30266796Oh I felt I should elaborate while I do dislike romance subplots when they're just shoehorned into a show I don't mind romance if it serves a good purpose or the characters develop over time. Generally shows with more mature themes like Rakugo tend to handle romance a lot better. The average isekai and romcom trash plaguing modern anime seem to just insert random love interests for the protagonist and it's fucking annoying. If you're gonna write romance it should be believable and you should be able to feel the emotions between the characters!
examples of good romance: karakai jouzu takagi-san, spice & wolf, maoyuu maou yuusha, ore monogatari,
banana fish if you count it as romance.>>30267358I have that show at 8.5 which is why it wasn't in there but I do love it. To be honest I haven't revisited a lot of shows in over a decade so I should probably revise my list quite a bit if I ever do. Sora no Woto ages really well I think.
>>30267230To think if we'd met under different circumstances we could've been friends...unfortunately as my doppleganger I might have to kill you to protect myself.
I fucking love space and still watch tons of space videos on YT all the time like a little kid.
