Ok, since I was too busy watching the stream, I want to add my 5 cents to the hate posts conversation from the last thread. Honestly, I don't like going out of my way searching hate posts, comments and whiteknight my oshi. It feels below me and not worth the time, but when I encounter the rrat straight on, emotions may overwhelm me and I might throw a rebuttal on a whim. I had several oshis beforehand who got hate too and got affected by it. Sometimes, I feel like I should've done something, that I should've protected them, but I'm just one man army. 1 positive comment won't make a difference against 100 of negative comments, and besides that, antis will just perceive me as a silly whiteknight, laugh at me and the fanbase as a whole. Honestly, I thought about, and I think fans are powerless when it comes to hate. The only one who can sort it out are livers themselves. If they can't tradwrangle their antis, you, as a fan, won't be able to do it either. Yes, all the hate is painful to see, but you, as a fan, should just focus on supporting and loving your oshi instead of spending your time fighting the antis. Fighting the antis won't bring you any satisfaction, nor it will help your oshi in any way. Just do what you can do instead of trying to do an online equelevent of breaking a brick wall with your fists
