They're not wrong, but I think I've only ever broke the 50+ pages in one day once, and that was just because I was drunk.
I think the hardest part about writing is you gotta figure out what you wanna do, and sometimes that takes time and requires thinking about the story over long periods. But then again, sometimes writing something out will help you come to a new perspective, so rushing out a rough rough rough draft can be good.
