>>55359195I believe Haachama was the first to show her YouTube analytics and Coco was the second, the general belief is that Coco did it in order to lessen the damage on Haachama's part knowing that it would result in backlash which was pretty much true, Haachama herself said on stream later that if she hadn't shown her analytics, Coco would probably still be in Hololive,
https://youtu.be/7KqXK9bCM8w. I remember that Haachama directly apologized for the taiwan yab while Coco came back with an Asacoco and the legendary "Fuck you and never comeback" she mentioned not meaning to offend anyone but I don't remember an explicit apology, not that it would've helped since the zhangs were out for blood.
Some other things to note are that while now its been mostly forgotten, about half the board believed that Coco had been forced to graduate and that she'd was being sabotaged behind the scenes, one of the best examples of this was the list she gave to management of people to turn into mods and people to ban. Management switched these too up in a colossal blunder and Coco was forced to manually go through the list of users who'd been banned before the error was caught. This resulted in her having a breakdown on stream that was salvaged by Kanata but its hard to look at Cover and accept that it allowed something like that to happen with all good intentions.
The whole thing is so surreal looking back on it but recalling it dredges up alot of those old memories as well. It's insane how both Coco and Rushia were the top dogs of the industry and were taken out by something so incidental that nobody could have anticipated it. Stuff like Botan crying reflecting on how she should have reached out to her sooner and Coco just cracking a joke to lighten the mood or how there might have been a legitimate chinese plot to take over Cover by bilibili that was interrupted by Coco's yab. I'm getting teary eyed remembering those days...
