it's just not that visually appealing and no regard for how the pose would work in real life. if you look really hard you can see flay's left (his left) foot overlapping berta's leg in a way that would prevent the foot from sitting flush on the floor like the other one, his hips are awkwardly skewed to the side, berta's legs are just sucked into the void, her arms are awkward and stiff and the overall mismatched motion bothers me
