I'll be honest I wonder how much of Lu Bus greatness in battle is accurate. 'Warrior without equal' is a strong thing to say about yourself, but there has to be some truth in how formidable he actually was. Maybe he's more of an aesop, you can be the best fighter in the land, but you still need to be able to do diplomacy and have loyal friends.
