Shitposts tended to be restricted to the boards, but nijisanji has fucked up at so many points that it's leaking out into the wider social media sphere (partly thanks to their strikes on dramatubers backfiring as well).
Unlike Cover though, you can't exactly "defend" any of these instances of corporate fuckery. Notice that the entire point is that "guys the talents that remain kinda feel bad if you keep whacking on nijisanji, so could you stop?", they literally cannot contest the fact that the company of their oshi is a fucking dumpster fire of bad decisions.
