Ike really excell on story-focused or those exploration game. He always paid attention and appreciate every small details in those games, and combines with how often he went on a ramble towards things he likes makes an interesting commentary that even people who are fans of the game could enjoy his playthrough too (or atleast I did when I watch his Abzu, Gris, Little Nightmare stream haha).
If the VN talk ended up as just Ike fanboying over every single details he like in those VNs it would be fine too, I sometimes prefer hearing an actual fan just listing and appreciating all the things they like in a media than forcing to be critical towards every little aspect
