Only two rounds into the series, we already grab ourselves a bit of patented IndieCar rookie magic! That was a real surprise win at the last moment for the Indie Lights champ in Ojiki. Definitely a nice win to honor her soon-to-be-graduating younger sister Reiny, and she's also currently points leader at the end of today's stream!
Alas, for the other rookie in Doki, 'twas a tough start to her open-wheel racing career. But it's only the start of the series, let's see how she fares in the 9 remaining rounds this month.
Boy, what an action filled first three rounds we had. Two first-time winners, both getting wins at the very last moment. I'm curious to see how things go for tomorrow's races. We'll be at Brainerd and Phoenix then. What will the abrupt changes in settings do for the indies? Find out tomorrow at 11 AM EST!
