You can get away with bro interactions, akin to the dream SMP People/ Danplan. You don't necessarily have to fujobait if you are uncomfortable, since if you are confident and passionate on the things you talk about you are able to get a good grasp on the conversation and engage people.
Also in regards to chat, being able to engage with chat is one of the harder things that you have to eventually pick up, I've seen some v tubers and streamers that suck at it hard but were able to develop over time. (Kuzuha for example). The best example for an english v tuber who knows how to banter well with his chat is Fulgur, check his streams, as he usually notices the comments of those who add more to the play through or share their insights in regards to their playthrough.
