I've gone to cemeteries and haunted houses and and didn't follow any of the rules that keep the spirits happy.
The only thing that happened is the people i was with in the cemetery ran away because they heard something but i didn't see so i stood still and walked to them after they stopped.
As far as I'm concerned ghost's don't exist but there is a theory that you have to be open to the supernatural to experience it or some people are more attuned to it than others which might be the case for me as i don't even dream very often.
