>>3128643The act of choosing an oshi is partly out of necessity. I watch dozens of different chuubas, most of them not even Hololive. The thought of being a DD for all of them is mentally exhausting and leaves me feeling bad for not watching their streams more often even though logically there isn't enough time in the day to watch 40+ 1-3 hour streams per day.
Picking an oshi to commit to provides liberation so I don't have to feel pressured to watch other girls. At that point watching other girls goes from being an obligation to just something you do to fill time until your oshi's next stream.
