>>34759648This whole situation reminds me of the situation between Kana and her original mama. Kana was one of if not the first of Nachoneko's daughters even pre-dating Gura. My memory is hazy, but sometime last year Kana made several attempts to contact her for a costume change to no avail, she ghosted Kana so hard that she even ignored Kana while she streamed. During that time there was clear favoritism to the JP vtubers - and Gura for obvious reasons.
Kana can get pretty menhera and overreact too but still it left a sour taste in my mouth with Nacho after all that. I get artists can get busy (especially someone like Nacho), then there's the language/cultural barriers but eh...she treated Kana a lot colder than Rucaco is treating Shadow. Like at least Rucaco occasionally interacts with Shadow (rare occasions that she shares on disc) and has some sort of legitimate (albeit unprofessional) excuse for disappearing for half a year. And I can't understate that artwork for merch is a lot less work than making a model design so I want to give her the benefit of the doubt. Can only hope their relationship isn't too strained at this point.
