>>4961950Kano doesn't use a voice changer, it's voice acting, it's pretty evident for anyone who does some basic archive reps and can see the evolution of the voice.
And because it's fun - I like Kano's giant Minecraft projects, or how Kano went to great lengths to build machinery that would make farming materials easier, and the actor was actually skilled in PUBG Lite, making for some good streams. The Genshin streams were also fun, instead of chasing 5 stars Kano just took on the challenge and kept playing with what came her way, and became skilled at playing Amber.
Also, the stream atmosphere is chill and comfy - there's no overhyped high-pitched screaming and Kano is okay with the chat talking between themselves to a certain degree, and because there aren't as many viewers it fosters a small sense of community that's rare among vtuber chats.
Last but not least, the simple character design, the DIY mentality and the scuffled setup as a result of trying one's best with what's available is endearing - it has a level of sincerity (aka SOUL) that you don't get on a lot of vtubers (which is by the very nature of vtubing, as people are assuming a different identity) and I appreciate that.
