I think the design is excellent - the idea of a fighting type grapling octopus is brilliant, the colors of it being made to look like a (brazillian jiu-jitsu) gi is a nice touch, and the fact that it's an aquatic animal that lives in the same environment and doesn't have to have the water type is great. I'm sick of every aquatic Pokemon needing to shoot water. Only problem is that its signature move sucks (in terms of utility) and its moveset generally isn't good.
