This was definitely the predominant style of posting early on, but as various generals ran out of things to write about, they took to actually using the world as a basis to interact and started making new entries based on those interactions instead, creating a unique sort of culture in /vtwbg/ itself independent of the generals it's based on. It's been a fascinating project to see raised from its infancy.
