Hey friends just wanted to come into the general and say some stuff, some of which I said already in an early luxiem thread. I had watched Nijisanji here and there, just clips and such like Hana, Bonniver, and others, but I had never really sat down and watched much of the company's livers. Luxiem debuted and I was already really into male vtubers (I've been watching Holostars for like 2ish years, bit less then that, I had a years worth of a Roberu membership and I gave him a superchat in his 3D stream.) They were all really funny and entertaining, and I'm upset I didn't get into Nijisanji sooner. The girls in EN have all been really fun as well, I had a great time watching Pomu's MGR streams and the interactions with Luxiem have all felt natural and fun, in general it seems like NijiEN and the english speakers in general all just get along well and it doesn't feel forced to me at all.
This isn't to say I think Hololive is forced. I enjoy the Holostars x Hololive collabs when they happen, the Among Us collab was hilarious, the Mario Kart one was great, I think Ollie and Astel are hilarious together, I hope to see Bae and Roberu do a stream together because I think it'd be fun, etc. I guess I just really enjoy the dynamic of Nijisanji a lot. Maybe I'm disillusioned with the idol schtick that Hololive has, I dunno, I'm probably overthinking it, because I love Holostars and they're idols too. Either way just wanted to say I get why so many people enjoy it now, it's genuinely a lot of fun and has helped to reinvigorate my love of vtubing, I'm actually watching the Luca/Rosemi stream as we speak. Sorry this was so long I just had a lot to say on this, I know it's a fucking wall of text.
