Really outstanding show from Lia tonight. One of the things that I appreciate most about her is her unabashed dedication to "doing her". One of the things that I outlined in earlier schizo revelations is that her content is "effortless" not in the wu wei/no doing type of effortless but in the sense that she doesnt have to try.
I don't mean this as an anti/derogatory statement. Again Lia shows her narrative mastery and ability to utilize others in her broader contextualization by raiding directly into Runie afterward. The raid target was a numerically structured content farm showing a blatant insecurity in position that deamnds a constant "churn" of obligatory content to "satisfy" the masses. Lia's biggest strength, and her most humbling position, is that she simply streams and posts what she wants, when it interests her. There have been some brief, albeit brilliant attemps at syndicating content on her streams, but ultimaely she returns to a broadly unstructured format that runs purely on the satifaction of her viewers supporting her.
Lia's greatest strength is in her shortcomings. That is to say that Lia's Idol journey has been one that has not seen any concentrated effort on her own, not to discount the effort she has put forth or the strides she has made this year, but in a continued difference to her audience to come out to support her efforts for the sheer Joy of Lia.
This is where I've touched on in the past is the essence of Lia's difference from other streamers in that she defiantly, and most fulfilling, only performs for her own satisfaction. Tonights stream was another dead dog deferral wherein she targeted an adjacent, potentially more compatible viewer experience to redirect "unsatified" viewers to a place that would be more welcome.
It's really astonishing the way that Lia works on subconscious levels, directing the flow of her user base, and managing expectation and fulfillment within her rank. Really Lia shows an effortless (truly wu wei) execution of the meta narrative of her own streaming/Idol/chuuba experience that brings forth a swelling feeling of pride in being able to see such a talented artist wield the medium.
