>>3680893That's not really true anon, TV talk shows have been some of the most popular forms of entertainment for most of the last century and there's even a direct link from them to the birth of VTubers and they were all about world news. Having current events as a springboard is an easy way for an entertainer to keep their content fresh without actually having to be endlessly creative. It may not be the best way to entertain consistently but it's certainly passable, more so than so many VTubers' barrage of bad sex jokes.
