As someone who works in small corpo, I understand this sentiment. You discuss "business" aka your salary level and development plan twice a year. You are free to hang out with your boss and team, make inside jokes, etc.
In PC case, at least for the first 2 years, Sakana was the one bearing the risks on his shoulder. Dude is just vtuber fan, who had money and business experience.
