>>33742689I don't think it's reasonable to expect someone to be an exact clone of you, you have to be willing to meet them halfway. Having some kind of starting off point is important though, if they're not open to watching the girls or you're not open to watching the guys it probably won't work.
Beyond vtuber taste though they should at least like anime, that's like the bare minimum for me I don't think I could be happy with someone who doesn't enjoy talking about weeb shit with me even if we have different tastes.
