It's also a safety feature so their brains don't get overstimulated by vtubers talking about community memes from 3 years ago and how much they love ice cream sandwiches or whatever they're greenlit to talk about on stream.
Basically having no streams is a victory when having a collab stream with an indie is the alternative.
