Last week the new Sonic x Shadow came up and she used that as a springboard to talk about fanfiction and ship names. I don't remember either of these being particularly long or egregious but maybe I missed a third one.
>>69465383I think the problem is that Yuno had a lot of "debut-era" jokes that stuck around. Most Vtubers have those types of gags or lore things that are good for giving people something to talk about while the streamer settles in. Yuno was really a slow burn to start off. Her first month had a lot of "I don't think I want to be known for that", and avoiding stuff because she wasn't sure what niche she wanted. There wasn't really anything to "replace" the forehead jokes and stuff for awhile and they started to fester.
She has gotten a lot better at being an entertainer over time and it feels like she is more comfortable with steering the discussion and guiding chat than she used to be, so I have faith a lot of those more forced jokes will start to fade out now.
