There is a reason pic related is a trope in Japanese culture: even when they’re complete without blame, the superiors of a person who commit an infraction *must* take responsibility (if for no other reason, for “not having taught him better”), apologize and promise to make amends.
That’s how Cover dealt with Nene tracing and that’s why it’s no longer a deal. Anycolor failed to abide by Japanese tatemae and still has a problem at their hands
