I think you can extract the bug juice as more mundane medicine like the previous post said, but the most effective ones will have to come from a live bug, who will have to suck the juice from animals that are both dangerous and can't be tamed/domesticated, which necessitates having to both go hunt them regularly and to bring the bugs along them. If we go full monhun, the stronger effects might be what's needed to make hunting actually effective in harvesting whatever else we can get from the monsters (maybe their body parts can also be used back home to produce medicine that are not as good, but more affordable?)
