You can draw several conclusions but not really anything further than "The existing audience is watching more shorts OR a new audience is watching shorts". You can also attribute it to newer clippers trending towards shorts-only channels. It doesn't seem to be tourists though, as they are staying way longer and not for some event/buff.
For EN, there has been a steady increase over the past year, while regular clips are stable. It's around 50/50 now for a clipfag to consume a regular clip or a short.
