Upon rational examination of the evidence currently presented to us, I shall present the most realistic and fitting hypothesis about the Yuri mystery case:
The doxxing hypothesis was rejected on the basis that it would be grounds for a severe contract breaching and instant termination, unlike negotiations.. The most fitting hypothesis is that it's a money issue. I shall explain my reasoning:
>Yuri was getting money from her whales directly, without paying the Phase tax.
>It would be reasonable to think the donators asked for something in return. I'll elaborate this further down the post.
>This fits Lumi's testimony: "I guess she's happier with her new friends".
>This fits Panko's testimony: "If you knew your impression on her would be ruined". More on this later.
>This fits "Sakana tried really hard" (negotiating the Phase cut for the renewed contract, which Yuri refused).
-Why termination and not graduation?: Graduation is reserved for people belonging to the Phase Family, who for a variety of reasons cannot continue their activities, and will be remembered fondly as one of the team. What Yuri did is to choose to maximize her own benefits and reject being part of the family, a team player. She coldly chose to cut ties in favor of herself, and therefore is not Phase Family anymore, hence the soft-unpersoning (wont give her exposure or anything. Don't expect them to ever subtly hint at her future accounts).
-Why not a burning-at-the-stake style termination? Because she didn't do anything outright evil or vile towards phase, just a cold business choice. (and it would be a PR nightmare).
-Yuri's choices explain the lukewarm reaction of phase connect's members, as she chose pandering to whales for money, over them.
Q.E.D.
Addendum: This part lacks enough concrete evidence for my tastes, so take it with a grain of salt. However, it is not an outlandish assumption given the situation:
Now, what would Yuri be offering to the donators? Upon examination of Yuri's character, we can observe that she's very particular about sex, however, Yuri is a person who greatly desires approval, affection and validation. It is thus reasonable to think she was selling erotic photo sets of herself, of a moderatelly lewd but non-explicit nature. In fact, it is also possible that some of the pics she has openly published herself were a preview, a freebie of sorts for those interested but indecisive about purchasing the sets, as it would be safer to post them publicly than risk them getting leaked by someone who didn't pay for them yet and thus their commitment still not guaranteed.
The fact she rejected Sakana's negotiations can only mean she intends to continue this business. Without Phase, it doesn't need to be a black market sort of deal, so she'll most likely continue it on a more open manner.
I doubt she's that smart and cold, but it would be a good marketing move to mention the selling of the pics in her farewell video, a marketing move disguised as an apology. However, I don't think she will, and it wouldn't get past management approval. We shall see soon.
