>>42940850Aside from obviously memorizing what sound each one does, you need to practice reading them. Go read your oshi's name in kana or something. Read Japanese stuff online or wherever that interests you. Just look for the kana in the text and identify it don't worry if you don't understand anything yet. Just trying to memorize and then not using it to read is bad and you're going to forget them easily. Just don't try to read manga sound effects because some authors write them really poorly and it's hard to make them out sometimes. Anyway, it's literally use it or lose it. I try to practice my Japanese even if it's shit because I don't want to forget it. Don't worry if it's hard for you. Just keep at it, even if progress is slow.
