It might be a painful battle, but the Vijaya faction would be repulsed. Elephants in particular are really hampered by the constraints of urban warfare. Plus the fleet of ships of the line in the bay that would be providing coastal support and limiting the attacker's options.
Also, Deadbeats have experience with elephant-sized animals being used in warfare, that's featured in their wars at home.
