Western streamers tend to be vapid narcissists that cannot fathom any form of spotlight that isn't straight directed at them, invalidating in the process the advantage the vtubing media poses. Literally they just suck at conventional streaming because reasons (not attractive enough, not young enough, not talented enough, etc...) so they divert to vtubig but still treating it as conventional streaming with extra steps.
